About the role
The team is responsible for individual jobsites, projects, and work orders. This individual will be expected to be part of the team that builds anything from a shed to large pole barns. The most important rule here at Kauffman Building is that daily we ask each other to support our Vision, Mission, and Guiding Values as a team. We are looking for an individual that can uphold our values while leading our team through guidance and direction.
Responsibilities
· Safely using power and pneumatic tools.
· Operating forklift and other heavy equipment.
· Growing skills, knowledge, and business acumen through attending our continuous development programs.
· Establish excellent working relationships with customers, vendors and other team members.
· Ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings.
Expectation: Location & commitments
· Reports daily to Kauffman Building Team in Bainbridge, NY
Candidate requirements
· 1yr in a related construction career and leadership potential
· Comfortable working from heights
· Reliable transportation to shop, daily.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
