Job Title: Summer Associate
Job Location: Woodland Hills, CA
Description: Summer Associates will assist attorneys in the day-to-day handling of cases with either one specific practice group or with numerous practice groups within the firm.

Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively with attorneys to develop strategy for the defense of actions
• Assist in drafting of pleadings, discovery, memos, briefs and other legal correspondence and litigation documents
• Shadow an attorney in depositions, conferences, hearings and all other aspects of the defense of a case
• Conduct legal and medical research and analysis
• Assist with the drafting of motions
Skills and Abilities Required
• Strong legal research, writing and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects;
• Excellent organizational and time management skills;
Salary
• $65,000 per year, pro-rated, for 1L students
• $70,000 per year, pro-rated, for 2L students
Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
