GPS Dozer Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled GPS Dozer Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating bulldozers equipped with GPS technology to perform grading, excavation, and site preparation with precision. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate GPS-equipped dozers to perform grading and excavation tasks accurately.
• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.
• Adjust GPS settings and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
• Work closely with site supervisors and other operators to ensure project specifications are met.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with other site tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating dozers, specifically with GPS-controlled systems.
• Ability to read and understand construction blueprints and site plans.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in grading, excavation, or heavy civil construction.
• Certification in heavy equipment operation or GPS technology.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work long hours as needed.
• Must be able to sit for extended periods while operating equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
