Overview
The Chicago office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an associate with 4 or more years of experience. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.
The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial litigation or insurance coverage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Represent clients in commercial litigation and professional liability litigation.
- Analyze insurance policies to identify coverage issues and draft coverage opinions, reservations, and disclaimers.
- Represent clients in insurance coverage litigation.
Qualifications
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Experience or interest in insurance coverage, cybersecurity, defense litigation and/or commercial litigation is a plus.
- Superior academic credentials from a top-tier accredited law school.
- Member in good standing of the Illinois bar. Indiana is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
