The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.KD’s Labor and Employment practice includes employment discrimination, workplace harassment, wage and hour defense, as well as traditional labor law matters.RESPONSIBILITIES : Independently manage a litigation caseload by working cases from inception through resolution. Handle extensive discovery practice, court appearances and depositions. Communicate with clients and provide status reports.KD provides a friendly, respectful and intellectual work environment. We are a prominent and diverse law firm, offering growth, leadership and educational opportunities to all of our team members.Note : Hybrid or Remote work option.Qualifications Employment litigation experience including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour and employment contract cases.Experience handling employment litigation in federal and state court in Connecticut.Experience developing strategy, drafting pleadings, taking / defending depositions, arguing motions and the capability of working independently.Experience providing advice and counsel on workplace law issues, including employee relations, mitigation of risk, ADA and other workplace accommodation, employment agreements, reductions-in-force, and employment-related policies is also beneficial.JD from an ABA accredited law school.Admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York preferred.Kaufman Dolowich participates in Mansfield Rule Certification and is a five-time recognized law firm.
