What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Kava Culture?
Kavanation Botanical Beverage Group, is seeking a reliable individual with the necessary skills to support our growing
multiple store and facility locations. The ideal candidate for this position has experience in all types of tasks
related to maintenance and construction, and who can perform a wide variety of tasks, can complete all jobs quickly, accurately, efficiently and takes pride in their work. This is a contracted 1099 position.
General Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for responding to work orders
submitted from our various store and facility locations (Clearwater - Naples).
- Creates a safe and attractive environment for guests and staff by ensuring our location is maintained in accordance with all standards.
- Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within all areas of the store or facility, including, but not limited to; bar refreshes, painting, carpentry, plumbing leaks, repairing furniture and flooring, pressure washing, basic landscaping, keg line cleaning, and equipment set up.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
- ensure safety systems and equipment are properly functioning.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good, organized condition.
- Collaborate with other team members during special projects.
- Must have ability to demonstrate effective communication
- Keeps records and prepares required reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years prior maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
- Experience with general maintenance.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach upward.
- Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects or varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
- Must be available for on-call nights and weekends.
- Must have Valid drivers' license, with clean driving record and able to navigate and drive a 1/2 ton extended van.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
