Associate 3D CAD Technician

Kavaliro is seeking an Associate CAD Technician for our medical device manufacturing client position, which will involve the digital creation of IPS products, such as guides, implants, splints, and models. Collaboration with internal team members and surgeons is essential to meet technical requirements for each case, including understanding medical procedures and anatomy. The role requires proficiency in computer-aided design software to create 3-dimensional models.


Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

• Learn and demonstrate knowledge of the complete range of IPS products.
• Identify technical requirements of the customer in collaboration with team members.
• Design IPS products that comply with technical requirements, regulatory standards, and internal guidelines.
• Depict parts and their technical features clearly for manufacturing purposes.
• Design and execute tests to simulate product use for performance, reliability, and usability verification.
• Create and maintain files specific to each patient’s case.
  

Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements

• AS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Bioengineering, Biomedical) or a comparable degree/certification in a technical/medical field or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience with 3D modeling software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
