Our client is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Manager for an exciting direct hire opportunity. The Cloud Infrastructure Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for the design, deployment, management, and optimization of the organization’s hybrid cloud and on premises infrastructure. This role ensures secure, scalable, and reliable environments to support business objectives. The Cloud Infrastructure Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, manages cloud and service desk operations, and drives innovation through cloud technologies.
DUTIES:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Drive cost effective cloud adoption using automation, operations frameworks, and IaC tools and languages such as Bicep, python, yaml, Kubernetes, and docker utilizing standard DevOps practices. Manages physical datacenters equipment including servers, storage and software such as VMware and Azure HCI stack. Design, implement, manage, maintain, and plan for advancement within data storage systems and tools such as SQL server, IBM DB2, and snowflake ensuring a modern data driven architecture.
- Manages delivery of all Microsoft products and supporting platforms including Microsoft 365 (Office, Teams, SharePoint, Email, etc.), server and desktop operating systems, Email archiving and data governance. Designs, implements, monitors, and maintains secure and immutable data backup and storage repositories utilizing industry standard tools and techniques. Manages enterprise-wide telephony solutions including integrations within the call center, Microsoft Teams, and third-party providers. Manages support delivery teams including service desk and systems management. Utilizes the ITIL framework and common ITSM tools such as SolarWinds Service desk or ServiceNow with a focus on continual service improvement. Works within an established budget and timelines to ensure operational integrity and SLA compliance.
- Works closely with the Network and Cyber Security Manger to enforce compliance with all security standards. Collaborates with the Digital Solutions and Enterprise Applications teams to ensure seamless pipeline and system requirements are met and ensure smooth integration of new software and updates. Develops, coaches, and mentors’ internal DevOps, Systems, and Service Desk staff for growth and alignment with company culture standards. Leads by exemplifying company culture standards. Fosters a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team.
- Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations ensuring positive outcomes to all regulatory and supporting examinations. Has working knowledge of and supports all industry standards for data security and management such as CIS, FFIEC, data governance best practices, and general knowledge of security best practices. Regularly audits team activity to ensure proper separation of duty and adherence to guidelines set forth by regulators and management. Implements, documents, monitors, and tests disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure operational integrity.
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
The ability to motivate or influence internal or external senior level professionals is a critical part of the job, requiring a significant level of influence and trust. Obtaining cooperation and agreement on important outcomes via frequently complex, senior level dialogues, as well as a professional level of written communication skills are essential to the position.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years of experience directly managing Azure, AWS, or GCP environments utilizing common components such as compute, networking, storage and containerization technologies including Kubernetes.
- Experience with common virtualization technologies and supporting ecosystems such as VMware, storage, and backup technologies.
- Experience administering M365 solutions including Teams, Endpoint Manager, Intune, Azure AD, SharePoint and on premises Active Directory.
- Must have experience in scripting and automation. Familiarity with AI/ML services in the cloud and their application in driving business outcomes a plus. Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or Information Technology is strongly preferred.
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
