Kavaliro is seeking a Finance Administrator to support a client in Virginia.
Required Skills :
Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts and / or financial statements and take corrective action as needed. This includes activities involving credit cards, invoices, travel accountings, PCS / TDY accountings, tax returns, funding documents, debt collection, etc.
Review and analyze various, routine to complex General Ledger accounts and update information to ensure accuracy. Under Sponsor direction, establish commitments and obligations and periodically revalidate them within established guidelines and procedures.
Originate financial data and post into Finance Systems (Sponsor Finance and Acquisition Systems). Review to ensure data integrity are maintained.
Adhere to Government requirements (National Associates of Records Administration NARA) of financial record keeping.
Process travel and miscellaneous claims in a timely manner.
Provide general guidance to customers regarding entitlements, accounting requirements, and established finance policies.
Clear accounting suspensions and refer complex accounting issues to more senior officers providing customer service and technical assistance to Sponsor, and / or non-Sponsor customers.
Monitor daily cable traffic and other electronic mail and respond to various routine queries from customers; refer more complex queries to more senior officers for resolution. Provide general guidance to customers regarding entitlements, accounting requirements, and established finance policies. Research finance regulations and data within financial systems to resolve standard financial problems and issues.
Prepare all pertinent documentation in support of the Fee-For-Service (FFS) platform for certification; Monitor funding for the FFS. Location :

Clearance Requirement :
