Kavaliro is seeking a Atlassian Systems Engineer to support a client in Laurel, MD.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of the entire Atlassian Architecture and Suite of software products (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Confluence, Crowd, Fisheye/Crucible, and Jira).
- Demonstrated experience administering the Atlassian Suite, writing JQL (JIRA Query Language), constructing Confluence pages, performing installations and migrations, and working with JIRA filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields, administration, 3rd party add-ons, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with Groovy, Puppet, and Linux
- Clearance required: TS/SCI with a full scope poly
Day to Day:
- Setup new Jira projects
- Modify Jira Workflows
- Setup permission schemes
- Resolve permission issues
- Setup and Maintain Crowd groups
- Write SQL statements to modify data in Postgres
- Design a new Jira Workflows to support new features
- Write ScriptRunner Groovy scripts to modify issues in Bulk
- Write ScriptRunner Groovy scripts to execute field actions
- Update all the Atlassian product suite licenses
- Upgrade Postgres from version 10 to version 14
- Update Bamboo, Bitbucket, Confluence, Crowd, Fisheye/Crucible, and Jira to maintain IAVA compliance
- Write Jira Query Language (JQL) queries to track Jira assets

Clearance Requirement:
- Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
Salary : $240,000 - $260,000
