- Partner with the sales team to provide pricing guidance aligned with company strategies, helping maintain competitiveness and profitability.
- Collaborate with pricing and cross-functional teams to develop pricing proposals aimed at expanding business with both new and existing clients.
- Utilize tools like Excel and databases to conduct data analysis and support pricing decisions.
- Identify opportunities to boost profit margins through targeted pricing strategies focused on products, customers, or specific regions.
- Conduct in-depth competitive pricing analyses and monitor key performance metrics like sales and profit margins.
- Review special pricing requests to ensure they align with profitability goals.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and a problem-solving approach.
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL is required.
- Background in pricing for wholesale distribution is a plus.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to work independently and also thrive in a team setting.
- Good understanding of how pricing decisions impact broader business outcomes.
- Must be fluent in English for full compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills.
- Experience within the HVAC industry.
- Broader business experience is a bonus.
