Description:
The Energy Advisors will support the promotion of products and services to Energy customers through the Carolinas and Indiana.
Energy Advisors are responsible for following up on leads provided by the Business Energy Advisor team.
Follow up requires consistent phone and in person outreach.
The Energy Advisor is knowledgeable in energy related products and solutions.
They will be trained to promote and sell energy efficiency rebates, load control, charger and clean energy solutions within their jurisdictions.
Energy Advisors will use Salesforce as a CRM tool and must keep it updated weekly for clear sight into the sales pipeline.

HIRING MANAGER NOTES:
Support Business Markets products & services selling the use of rebates
- Support Trade Allies who are private contractors in the marketplace who use rebates with their customers for projects (S. IN location)
- Work directly with customers on the same projects
Offer rebates for lighting, HVAC, process equipment, pumps and motors, or anything industrial/commercial that uses electric. If a customer installs a more efficient piece of equipment, will offer a rebate for it.
Must be outgoing, business development mind, and self-motivation is more important than knowledge of equipment. Will be on the road 3-4 days per week. 1-2 days in office for reporting.
