- Responsible for daily cash reconciliation and resolving any differences.
- Perform job costing analysis and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports for construction activities.
- Work with the Accounting Manager to ensure property tax filings are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to construction accounting
- Reconcile bank/credit card statements and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with audits and prepare reports for external auditors
- Ad-hoc projects, reporting and account reconciliations, and other assignments as needed to support the finance team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction ERP, Viewpoint is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
