Our client is seeking a VP IT and Facilities Manager for a direct hire opportunity. Under general direction of the SVP/Information Technology Officer, the VP IT and Facilities Manager provides leadership and expertise on hardware, applications, operating systems, security, storage, networking, monitoring, resource management, service desk, and support functions of the Information Technology department. Also responsible for security, maintenance and services of facilities to ensure that they meet the needs of the organization and its employees, and performs related duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs a variety of operations, facilities, security, network, systems and application deployment either hosted in the cloud or on premise, service desk, and support functions in the information technology division
- Monitors vendor metrics, production and quality for all partnered roles and ensures alignment with contracted SLA’s
- Manages day-to-day information technology operations; oversees the IT, facilities, and Service Desk and user support, maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of the Bank’s computer systems including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals and Office Automation equipment; and serves as a technical resource
- Manages and oversees the service and maintenance of the Banks facilities; works with vendors, branch managers, property managers, and other 3rd parties to ensure facilities and maintenance requests and tickets are tracked and fulfilled
- Troubleshoots difficult and complex problems with applications; researches, tests, and isolates problems; and designs and implements solutions in order to maintain applications that adequately automate and assist
- Manages multiple projects; plans, staffs, prioritizes and manages all phases of implementation for assigned projects; provides technical assistance and guidance; directs the design, development and implementation of new projects; establishes budgets and timelines to implement new or enhanced equipment, systems, programs or projects; and monitors progress
- Manages the provision of technical support and services to Bank users; determines and improves customer satisfaction levels; plans, coordinates, and advises on both external and internal consulting and support activities for users
- Assists the Information Technology Officer by providing system application and technical expertise to facilitate the development of goals, policies, standards, and procedures surrounding IT and facilities
- Supervises, motivates, and evaluates IT and facilities staff; delegates work; provides technical and professional skills training; manages performance issues; makes recommendations regarding the hiring, promotion and disciplining of employees
- Assumes managerial responsibilities for the Information Technology department in the absence of the Information Technology Officer
- Evaluates vendor proposals for purchases of technology solutions and facilities services to assure adherence to business needs
- Creates and/or assists with required project documentation practices such as user requirements, security assessments, communication, change management, testing, deployment, and support plans
- Develops and implements methods to standardize, simplify, automate, and continuously improve IT and facilities processes, tools, and systems, to optimize service level and control costs
- Performs benchmarking, analytics and other reporting in order to make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the facilities and IT infrastructure
- Consults and collaborates with internal customers, including business managers and employees, to understand business objectives and develop solutions that will achieve those objectives
- Provides recommendations related to the annual IT department and facilities budgets
- Minimum of 10 hours CRA volunteer hours per year. Volunteer hours are typically scheduled within business hours. This is compensable time and mileage is reimbursed
- Other duties as assigned
- Manages IT and facilities staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions
- Minimum of a BA or BS
- 8 years of relevant experience
- 3 years of supervisory experience including management of 3rd party consultants and services
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, storage systems
- Ability to successfully participate and lead the execution of complex, enterprise-level projects with different teams with diverse personalities
- Skilled at both working solo on projects and equally at working closely and collaboratively with team members, sharing out responsibilities
- Effective analytical skills with an ability to identify issues and resolve, or identify the resources to assist in resolution
- Able to address issues quickly. Comfortable taking on multiple, concurrent projects and working under tight deadlines to address critical issues
- Strong organizational planning skills and understanding of project management concepts
- Tolerant of ambiguity and the flexibility to work well in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities
- Strong professional and technical communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Expertise in deploying and supporting SaaS applications, especially with SAML/SSO products like Okta
- Knowledge of administration of mobile computing products using enterprise management tools
- Comfortable and confident in speaking openly, whether with team members or executives, always leading with a positive, service-oriented attitude
- Ability to act as a flexible and innovative team player with a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and a hands-on approach

Salary : $138,000 - $148,000
