Social Worker - Children's Residential Treatment Program
Join our dedicated team in a Children’s Residential Treatment Program, providing care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Social Worker to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update Consumer Treatment Plans in compliance with Title 22 and Title 17 regulations.
- Facilitate meetings with Consumers and Parents to advance treatment goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with regional centers, school districts, and county agencies to support each child’s development.
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with parents and guardians.
- Manage referral, admission, and transition visits to ensure smooth transitions for children and families.
- Conduct or arrange on-the-job training for employees, including direct care staff.
- Monitor and supervise the implementation of Consumer Treatment Plans, ensuring their effectiveness.
- Assist in creating a warm, home-like atmosphere for the children.
- Establish policies related to individual care, personnel management, public relations, and facility maintenance.
- Provide and monitor continuing education, training, and orientation for staff.
- Maintain accurate behavioral charting records as needed for behavior management plans.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and agency policies.
- Develop and implement Individualized Service Plans (ISP) tailored to each child’s unique needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Master of Social Work (MSW) required.
- Experience: Minimum 24 months in social work or a related field.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
- Licenses:
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean DMV record.
- Proof of auto insurance.
- Background: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
