IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: KNES Education Resource Advisor
CONTROLLING SUPERVISOR: KNES Director
TYPE: Full-Time
LOCATION: Ponca City, Oklahoma
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED with experience in working with Native American Students or Youth. Prefer (2) years of education obtained in accredited Junior College, College, or University. Must be able to pass a background check (no felony convictions or misdemeanor convictions for offenses relating to children) and Drug test. Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be insurable. Must be able to pass a physical
SKILLS:
- Must be able to set priorities, organize, and coordinate work efficiently and independently.
- Competent in Microsoft program applications.
- Create and coordinate daily student activities and events that will encourage students to excel in school and personal growth.
- Be able to identify, tutor and monitor students from 1st-12th grade who are not meeting the academic standards and assist by offering additional resources.
- Recruit students that can be enrolled in the KNES program that need assistance.
- Willing to assist with all summer activities.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Must have a knowledge and understanding of Native American Culture and Heritage.
- Develop respectable working relationships with parents, students, and school staff.
- Engage with students of different grade levels at planned educational activities or events.

- Four (4) hours of Sick Leave begins accruing with the first paycheck and each full check during employment. This amount remains the same throughout employment.
