Kawa Capital Management, an independent asset manager based in Hallandale Beach, FL, was founded in 2007. Kawa has a proven investment track record across a broad product platform, including its flagship hedge fund (the ‘Kawa Fund’), other strategic funds, and private equity and private debt transactions.
Kawa manages approximately $3.2 BN in assets, distributed among: a Credit Multi-Strategy hedge fund, Commercial Real Estate Lending and Equity Transactions, Managed Accounts, and Energy and Infrastructure Deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee trade processing, booking, and allocation across multiple asset classes.
- Perform daily cash and position reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across accounts.
- Monitor and address trade breaks, working with internal and external teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Process cash movements for cash management and trade-related purposes.
- Prepare and analyze key operational reports for internal and external teams.
- Process and review end-of-day (EOD) trade files for administrators and custodians.
- Lead efforts to automate operational workflows, improving efficiency and reducing manual processes.
- Maintain organized records, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (recommended but not required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in operations, trade support, or a related role within asset management, hedge funds, or financial services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
