We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled, go-getter to fill a position as a (Registered)Dental Assistant. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Welcoming patients into our practice
- Collecting new patient information, updating existing patient information and maintaining HIPAA compliance on patient accounts
- Monitoring and filling the schedule appropriately to meet every providers capacity
- Building the schedule to optimize productivity and efficiency
- Effectively communicating key changes in the schedule (i.e. schedule changes or special patient considerations)
- Conducting positive and professional interactions with patients, and supporting them with their dental needs
- Ensuring every patient who comes into our office has a positive connection
- Additional front office responsibilities
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Dental Experience is a MUST - at least 3 years preferred
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong verbal skills and attention to verbiage and diction (being aware of what you say and how you are saying it)
- Able to think critically and bring solutions to the table
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service with our patients
- Having empathy for patient needs
- Genuinely care about helping people/patients
- Works well independently
- Can be a self-starter
- Effective communication skills
- Works effectively within a team environment
- Having a positive attitude, friendly and outgoing; able to work effectively within a team (A Team Player)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
