The Senior Group Manager of Pricing and Profitability is responsible for overseeing the pricing strategies, dealer incentives, financial planning and analysis, and subvention programs for powersports dealers. This role involves close collaboration with Kawasaki Motors' Sales department to ensure the alignment of pricing strategies with sales objectives and market conditions. This position will report to the Director of Corporate Planning, Vice President of Risk Management or Chief Financial Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Strategy:Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform pricing decisions.
- Monitor and adjust pricing based on market trends, cost changes, and competitive actions.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure pricing strategies support overall business goals.
- Dealer Incentives:Design and manage dealer incentive programs to drive sales and dealer engagement.
- Analyze the effectiveness of incentive programs and make adjustments as needed.
- Communicate incentive programs to dealers and provide training and support.
- Monitor dealer performance and ensure compliance with incentive program requirements.
- Financial Planning and Analysis:Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities for the department.
- Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans based on financial analysis to achieve business objectives.
- Dealer Pricing:Establish and maintain dealer pricing structures that balance profitability and competitiveness.
- Work with the sales team to develop pricing proposals for dealers.
- Monitor dealer pricing compliance and address any discrepancies.
- Provide pricing support and guidance to dealers as needed.
- Subvention Programs:Develop and manage subvention programs to support dealer sales and financing.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure adequate funding for subvention programs.
- Monitor the performance of subvention programs and make adjustments as needed.
- Communicate subvention program details to dealers and provide training and support.
- Collaboration with Kawasaki Motors' Sales Department:Work closely with Kawasaki Motors' Sales department to align pricing and sales strategies.
- Participate in joint planning and strategy meetings with the sales team.
- Provide pricing and profitability insights to support sales initiatives.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration between the pricing and sales teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in pricing, financial planning and analysis, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the motorcycle industry and dealer networks.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary:
$155,000 - $165,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
