Kawasaki Tennessee, Inc. is currently accepting resumes for a Quality Assurance Measurement Specialist in our Aluminum Die Casting and Machining facility.

Position Summary
- Verification of production work samples.
- Aiding and/or developing work, inspection, and process documents pertaining to QA Department objectives.
- Support Team Leaders and associates with information to meet daily quality objectives established by KTN or customer requirements.
- Aid and support the Q.A. Manager in meeting customer specific requirements and customer-mandated items.
- Effectively use all QA lab equipment: Micrometers, Calipers, Gauges, Optical Scope, Spectrometer, CMM, X-Ray and other equipment when introduced.
- Perform gauge calibration
- Perform daily/weekly production material analysis as necessary to support production activities and quality objectives.
- Perform and/or conduct gauge R&R analysis.
- Aid in the development of work/inspection instructions for existing and new products.
- Aid in the maintenance of Quality System documentation.
- Support and/or aid QA Manager in all areas of responsibility as deemed necessary.
- Note: Must be able to travel, possibly for extended periods of time.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee is frequently required to use hands.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required.
- Comply with all IATF 16949 requirements.

Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED and preferred 2 years related experience.
Must be able to read and write English fluently.
Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills are required.
Solid work history and willingness to successfully function in a team environment.
Basic math skills required.
Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel.
Must be proficient in blueprint reading and G D & T.
Experience with doing layouts and/or measurement of automotive components or equivalent product.
CMM programming experience; including other measurement equipment experience. i.e., vision systems, surface finish,
couture, etc.
