7080 Admin-Population Health
Directs outpatient services of assigned Kaweah Health Clinics to ensure execution of high quality, cost-effective medical and behavioral services. Coordinates overall clinical quality, administrative and fiscal aspects of the assigned outpatient clinic departments. Provides leadership and oversight of the performance of department leaders and providers. Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in business administration or nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience
Preferred: Master's degree in business administration, management, health care management, or related field

Experience
Required: Five years of operational management experience in outpatient clinics demonstrating the ability to lead and manage complex outpatient operations successfully.
Preferred: Experience with opening new clinics/service lines, site visits and surveys (CMS, CDPH, TJC, health plans, etc.), and integrating quality improvement initiatives into clinical operations

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential

Successfully recruits, leads, develops, mentors, and supports managers and staff (i.e. sets, assigns and reviews progress of goals; recommends/approves salary increases; and develops higher levels of expertise in staff by encouraging further education, participation in seminars and providing learning opportunities within the organization)

Conducts regular agenda driven monthly meetings with staff and providers to connect them to our mission, updates them on progress to goals, address issues and concerns, and receives feedback.
Consistently rounds on staff, patients and providers to create approachable environment, strengthen relationships, find improvement opportunities and show appreciation.
Conducts performance appraisals on time and ensures managers and supervisors complete theirs on time.
Collaborates with organizational leadership to develop and execute strategic plans for clinics, aligning with the organization's mission and vision.
Works with clinic site managers to coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of multiple clinics, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high-quality patient care.
Oversees the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of clinic staff, fostering a positive, engaged, and supportive work environment.
Participates in the recruitment, onboarding and retention of physicians and APPs.
Has intimate knowledge of physician and medical group contracts and terms as it relates to clinic operations and ensures accuracy in physician compensation for clinic services.
Ensures adherence to healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures, and maintain compliance with all relevant healthcare laws and standards.
Collaborates with medical providers, clinic management, and support staff to optimize clinic workflows, patient scheduling, and resource allocation.
Monitors patient satisfaction and feedback and implements improvements to enhance the overall patient experience.
Works with finance team to successfully prepare and justify annual budgets, pro-formas and capital requests.
Responsible for financial management, expense control, and revenue optimization for the assigned clinics according to budget.
Works collaboratively with the Director of Population Health and medical directors on quality improvement initiatives.
Analyzes clinic performance data, track key performance indicators and lead efforts for improvement.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with providers, local healthcare partners, community leaders, and relevant stakeholders.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area.

$72.90 -$109.36
