Kaweah Health is seeking a Hand Therapist to join our dynamic team!

Our focus is quality care of clients who have varied upper extremity diagnoses including complex post-surgical.
We are looking for someone that possesses the following:
- CA OT license, prefer PAMS and Advanced Practice-Hands
- CHT is preferred but not required. We offer mentorship to help you prepare to sit for you CHT exam
- Competent with full range of manual and soft tissue mobilization techniques
- Experience with custom static and dynamic orthoses preferred but not required. We offer mentorship to assist develop this skillset
- Flexible individual who can excel in a fast-paced environment

Job description
Therapists working in our Hand Therapy departments treat a variety of upper extremity conditions, both non-operative and post-operative. A therapist working in Hand Therapy must have the capacity to evaluate a patient’s condition and create an individualized plan of care geared towards optimizing outcomes and progressing towards patient goals. Opportunities include working with a team that includes CHTs, on-the-job mentoring and training to develop clinical reasoning and splint fabrication skills and the ability to communicate and coordinate care directly with referring physicians.
