We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Toddler Teacher to join our team at Kay's Learning Academy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for toddlers, fostering their physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development. This role requires a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and colleagues to ensure the best care and education for our youngest learners.

Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for toddlers.
- Implement age-appropriate activities to promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents regarding their child’s progress and daily activities.
- Ensure the health and safety of all children at all times.
- Follow all state licensing guidelines and center policies and procedures.
- Keep accurate records of each child's development and daily activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED (required)
- NC Early Childhood Credential or its equivalent (preferred) EDU 119 (or willingness to obtain)
or
At least one year of experience in a center working with toddlers.
*Pay based on experience and educational background
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
-ITS SIDS certification (or willingness to obtain).
-Successful completion of background checks, TB test, and health screening (required before starting).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
