This is a part time position and hours for the position are as follows:
Monday - 8:30am-7:00pm
Wednesday - 8:30am-7:00pm
Friday - 8:30am-7:00pm
Saturday rotations from 8am-1pm
Chiropractic Aide Responsibilities:
- Greeting and checking in patients upon arrival, ensuring collection of proper co-pay and scheduling of follow-up visits according to plans of care
- Collecting information from new patients and preparing them for initial examination
- Preparing treatment rooms prior to appointments to ensure they are ready for patients
- Answering phone calls, calling patients to schedule follow-ups
- Setting up charts to facilitate chiropractor’s documentation process during initial intakes, follow-ups, and re-exams
- Assisting chiropractor with preparing patients for treatment modalities
- Reviewing daily appointment schedule, making chiropractor aware of special cases, re-evaluations, etc.
- Assisting chiropractor with screening assessments for DOT/CDL exams
- Supporting other team members as part of a tight-knit team (including Front Desk and Physical Therapy aides)
- Other duties as they arise
Chiropractic Aide Requirements:
- Previous administrative experience within a healthcare setting preferred
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records system preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Motivated attitude with an eagerness to learn.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, including punctuality and reliability.
