What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Aide position at Kayal Orthopedic Center, P.C.?

The hours are Mon, Wed, and Fri 10 hour shifts (8am-6:30pm), with possible Saturdays in our North Bergen Office from 8am-1pm and when the Fort Lee Office opens up Saturdays.
Job Duties:
Assist with patient intake
Observe patients, document patients responses and progress
Liaise with physicians' offices and hospital personnel
Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
Prepare patients for physical treatment, educate patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercises.
Help assist the Physical Therapist and Physical Therapy Assistant by providing heat packs, paraffin dips.
Help patients onto exercise equipment, monitor motion, track walking time and distance, measure mobility, perform prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by following procedures, rules and regulations i.e. clean beds, gym equipment, PT modalities.
Ensure operation of physical therapy equipment, complete preventive maintenance, call for repairs.
Maintain physical therapy supplies inventory, anticipate needs, place and expedite orders.
