Medical Coordinator
About KAYD Home Care:
KAYD Home Care is a licensed provider dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities in living independently within the community. We are seeking a highly motivated, organized individual with strong attention to detail to coordinate healthcare services for the people we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing of healthcare information.
- Oversee medication management and administration.
- Schedule and coordinate transportation for medical appointments and necessary follow-up treatments.
- Communicate crucial health-related information between medical providers and individuals’ support teams.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
- CPR/First Aid certified or ability to obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain pre-employment approval from the North Dakota Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Ability to make ethical and professional decisions.
