What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President, Development - Industrial position at Kaye/Bassman AEC+CRE?
The Vice President of Development will lead all sales activity and client negotiations for industrial developments.
Responsibilities Include:
- Helps create financial goals with division President and sales team.
- Identifies and pursues development, construction, and real estate management projects within geographic region.
- Supports the marketing and sales strategy for the region, including active management of the public relations, industry involvement, and award applications.
- Assess potential development sites and develops site-specific costs budget.
- Determine submission requirements and schedule for required governmental approvals and permits, attending meetings and making presentations as required (City Councils, Planning Commissions, neighborhood groups, etc.).
- Is a recognized leader within the local development/construction community, including active and visible involvement in the appropriate associations.
- Responsible for on-going customer relations to ensure design, construction and property management meet client expectations.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of knowledge and proven ability to sell, develop, and manage a variety of commercial/industrial facilities.
- Proven track record of developing and maintaining a profitable team.
- Proven financial skills, knowledge of project costs and feasibility.
- Bachelor's degree in real estate development, construction management, or related field.
