What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Diagnostic Alliance Management and Strategy - REMOTE position at Kaye/Bassman International?
Michael Pietrack leads our Medical Affairs recruiting here at Kaye/Bassman International. If you’d like to see all of our medical Affairs openings in real time, make sure to join our private LinkedIn group called KBIC Jobs- Medical Affairs.
One of our clients is a northeast based liver disease company with a first in class product. They are continuing to expand their medical affairs organization and we are proud to be their US partner of choice in these efforts. Their therapy has a large diagnostics component to it, and they are looking for a Director of Diagnostics Alliance Management and Strategy.
This is a remote role with some field responsibility. The job is to be the point of contact with three major external touchpoints. First is to liaise with the actual Diagnostics Manufacturers, with both available diagnostic tools and those who are developing those tools. Second, liaising with the labs themselves, both large national labs and local labs. Third, you’d be connecting with organizations that create technology related to diagnostics.
Most of these touch points will be virtual because of the large volume, but for some partners and in-person meeting would be best. So, someone with a customer facing experience would be ideal. Also, you’d cover some key conferences, so experience there would be valuable.
The role reports to the VP of Diagnostic Strategy, who is a very warm and friendly guy, who gives his people a lot of autonomy. Along with the leadership, the compensation and equity for the role is also very attractive. So, if you’re an experienced customer facing individual with a liver disease background with an interest or expertise in diagnostics, this is the role for you.
Salary : $220,000 - $250,000
