Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Law Associate Attorney to join our growing team. As an Associate Attorney, you will work closely with senior attorneys to represent clients in family law matters, providing exceptional legal counsel and advocacy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of family law, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to client-focused service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal representation for clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division
- Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
- Counsel clients on legal rights, responsibilities, and options
- Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through effective communication and personalized attention
- Manage case files and deadlines with attention to detail
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in Georgia
- 1-3 years of experience in family law (preferred)
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Compassionate, empathetic, and client-focused attitude
