What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver – CDL - Class A - 3rd shift position at Kayem Foods, Inc. Career Center?
SUMMARY:
CDL Class A Driver is responsible for an assigned / established daily route to make customer deliveries.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drives truck to deliver refrigerated product to customers’ place of business.
- Completes all pre and post inspection reports as required.
- Notes any discrepancies and problems on the Driver Discrepancy Report.
- Listens to and notes service complaints and reports to supervisor.
- Bring back rejected or unsold merchandise as authorized on the Credit Slip.
- Obtains customer signature on receipt as proof of pickup or deliver.
- Cleans inside of truck. (cab and box)
- Performs routine maintenance on truck including pre and post inspections
- Follows all Kayem and DOT policies, procedures and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
