What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Services/ Dry Goods Receiver position at Kayem Foods?
SUMMARY: Responsibilities of this position include operating the high lift to retrieve product in slots in the spice area. Must be able to operate a high lift and learn all necessary duties related to stocking and retrieval of products from dry good area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Fill pick slots from reserve and other locations.
- Receiving raw material and other material as needed.
- Check temps.
- Drive the High Lift when necessary
- Put away pallets of product from receiving
- Do all necessary paperwork for the safe operation of equipment and product movement in the computer system.
- Prep Production Materials & Supplies.
- Other tasks/duties, as needed.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be high lift certified, read, speak and write English, be able to lift 80 lbs, work in 30 to 50 degree temperatures, follow all Safety and Sanitation policies. Must know all picking jobs, have good mathematical skills and know how to use the computer to do pallet movements in the system. All interested candidates will be required to take an English Literacy exam.
