What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker - 2nd shift position at Kayem Foods?
SUMMARY :
Responsible for producing product in a productive manner, delivering quality results.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Visually inspect the product for any non- conforming areas, and set aside any non-conforming products
- Ensure adequate quantities of product are supplied to fill orders
- Maintain working knowledge of processing equipment operation, processing specifications, and labeling requirements
- Ensure clean, sanitary, and safe work practices, tools, and area
- Maintain knowledge of USDA and HACCP requirements
- Flexibility to do all jobs on the line through rotation
- Be willing to be cross trained within department to cover responsibilities if required
- Other duties as assigned / needed
