Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced educator to serve as Principal – Middle School. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent human relations skills, and the ability to develop positive relationships with staff and the community.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the middle school, ensuring high-quality education and excellent student outcomes.
- Plan and implement strategies for school improvement, focusing on student achievement and well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, students, and the community.
- Advocate for parental involvement and engagement in the educational process.
- Collaborate with other educators and stakeholders to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
Requirements
- A valid Arizona State Administrative Certificate.
- A Master's degree in education.
- Fifteen (15) hours of State-approved Structured English Immersion (SEI) coursework.
- Five years of successful teaching experience, middle school level required.
- Excellent human relations skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with all staff and the community.
- A commitment to improving achievement and the ability to plan and implement strategies for school improvement.
- A visionary leader with strong communication skills.
- Expertise in instructional uses of technology and interest in expanding the use of education technology in classroom settings.
- Proficient in developing long-range staff development plans with follow-up to increase staff capacity for growth and change.
- An advocate of parental involvement.
- Competent problem solver.
