Job Title : Engineer - 1381841
This position is 100% onsite in Georgetown, KY
Must be available for interviews via MS Teams, with 1-2 rounds lasting approximately 45 minutes.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, primarily within North America (US, MX, Canada) for work-related activities.
Must have- Experience in plastics process manufacturing / die experience , project management, presses, CATIA / 3D modeling software, and MS Suite.
Job Responsibilitie s
- Assist in the development of specifications for plastic injection processes to support Our Client's North American Region, focusing on quality improvement, cost reduction, and lead time efficiency.
- Manage New Model Plastics Parts both individually and through indirect management of a team of Engineers, SEIBI, and members to support pre-production activities.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership for SEIBI Technicians.
- Lead process development projects at Our Client facilities throughout North America.
- Monitor equipment post SOP / installation to ensure sustainability of production KPIs, contributing to continuous improvement for future projects.
- Collaborate across sections, departments, and Team to ensure sustainable product development throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
- Drive kaizen, innovation, and the Our Client Way philosophy, leading by example in daily activities.
