Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting scientific investigations and adapting testing methodologies.
- Maintaining laboratory instruments and ensuring Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures are followed.
- Verifying instruments per CLSI guidelines and performing Clinical Software Validations (CSV).
- Collaborating with R&D to develop and implement new testing methodologies.
- Participating in the development of clinical strategies and managing projects related to product development, clinical testing, and post-market surveillance.
- Training new associates and keeping current with industry trends.
Required skills include:
- Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory science and experience with human blood specimen collection.
- Familiarity with GCP/GLP, ISO regulations, and clinical software validations (CSV).
- Strong project planning, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Education & Experience:
- BS/BA/MA in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, Biology, or related fields.
- MT/MLT CLS (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
- 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
