What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Engineer (Body Shop)- 1382348 position at Kaygen, Inc.?
Only W2 candidate -(EADs , GCs, and USC)
Work Schedule : Hybrid (Remote Work on Monday / Friday if approved; Onsite required Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday)
Overtime : 20%
Domestic and International Travel : Within the US and travel to Japan, Canada (Approximately 1 week of travel per 6 weeks per project need)
Pending Project Need : 2-4 weeks approximately
Job Responsibilities
Projects layout and equipment needs, conducting go and see visits to gather current data for benchmarking.
Make overall process layout and evaluate equipment modification or new equipment needs.
Evaluate multiple options of equipment plans for project KPIs while collaborating with a team.
Establish new processes or improvements as needed based on experience with existing procedures.
Support and meet deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects.
Provide feedback to facilitate group development.
Identify critical judgment criteria and provide studies to support decision-making, with a strong focus on the critical path for project success.
Requirements
What you bring (Must Have)
Technical Degree in Engineering, Business, or Project Management, or equivalent work experience in an applicable field (Automotive, Industrial, Procurement, etc.).
5 years of work experience in a relevant field.
What you may bring (Prefer to Have)
New Model Body Shop Production Preparation Experience.
Manufacturing Shop Project / Mass Production Experience.
Experience in planning equipment costs and budgetary estimations.
Vehicle Structure & Processing Knowledge.
Advanced Engineering Degree.
Project Management experience.
Ability to identify and solve complex problems, investigate related information, develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions.
