KaylaTek is seeking a Imaging Technician to support a premier Air Force contract at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) - Washington, DC
JOB SUMMARY: The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites.
CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Current DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT II (one of the following: GSEC, Security , SCNP and SSCP certifications)
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Currently possess an active Secret clearance - verification required
SHIFT: Full time on-site - SWING SHIFT [Swing Shift hours (2pm - 10pm) Worksite: JBAB until imaging team moves to JBA (Spring 2025)]
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Imaging Technician is responsible for the execution and validation of desktop system images including post-implementation verification/testing, documentation and Tier 1 support of BIOS, OS, and related software to meet DoD and other requirements.
Other duties incumbent upon the Imaging Technician include:
• Deploy a secure standard image for relevant environments / domains.
• Provide feedback regarding user and product requirements for systems solutions regarding technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Assist with audit and evaluation of the imaging process to determine costs and risks, supportability and scalability for desktop systems
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum/General Experience: 2-4 years of related experience.
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Education and experience requirements may be substituted with:
- An associate's degree and no experience.
- 3 to 5 years of intensive and progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency levels related to task.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
