Certifications

• Current Security CE or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT level II certification
  
  

DAY SHIFT: 100% Full time onsite, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), MD

Primary Responsibilities

The Voice/Data Network Engineer will:

• Perform engineering for new circuit installations, modifications, and de-activations.
• Provide technical and operational support to end-user services, network expansions, and modernization of telecommunications backbone systems.
• Provide problem resolution for all hardware and software elements of the data communication circuits maintained by the work center to include Commercial and GFE owned networks.
• Provide outage and restoration information as required to include restore times.
• Ensure the availability of the circuits in coordination with others work centers as required.
• Perform status updates and circuit monitoring as required
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Active DOD Secret Clearance
• Minimum/General Experience: 2 or more years of relevant experience.
• Minimum Education: A bachelor's degree and current Security ce certification
• Education and experience requirements may be substituted with:
• A master's degree and and a current Security ce or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT level II certification
• No degree with 6 years of intensive and progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency levels related to task and a current Security ce or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT level II certification
