What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging Engineer position at Kaztronix?
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Packaging).
Minimum 1 year of experience in packaging development, design, and manufacturing. Project management experience strongly preferred.
Knowledge of supplier qualification processes.
Knowledge of plastic bottles, flexible packaging, closure systems, corrugate components, cartons and labeling for consumer products.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet timelines and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Knowledge of ISTA packaging and other shipping standards.
GMP experience strongly preferred.
Job Functions :
Develop, maintain, and manage packaging requirements and specifications.
Apply packaging engineering principles to execute the proper design, qualification and implementation of Primary / Secondary / Tertiary Packaging components and the associated systems such as documentation, equipment and processes.
Maintain a database of packaging guidelines and specifications along with item drawings for all approved packaging.
Support line trials and packaging validation activities prior to introduction of any new or change in components / processes.
