This is a full-time position, which KBCO defines as 24 sales transactions per year, demonstrating a commitment to real estate as a full-time career.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Property Showings & Listing Appointments – Conduct property tours for buyers and listing presentations for sellers with professionalism and expertise. Educate clients on the buying and selling process, provide strategic guidance, and ensure a seamless experience from the first appointment to contract execution.
- Manage Negotiations, Transactions & Closings – Oversee the negotiation process for both buyers and sellers, ensuring the best possible outcomes. Coordinate all aspects of contracts, contingencies, inspections, and closing details, keeping transactions on track and ensuring a smooth, stress-free closing experience for clients.
- Proactively Generate New Business – Identify and pursue new leads, referrals, and opportunities to grow your client base and increase sales.
- Stay Ahead of Market Trends – Continuously research and monitor local real estate trends, pricing, and property values to provide clients with expert insights.
- Build & Nurture Client Relationships – Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate for Team Success – Work closely with team members, support staff, and leadership to maximize efficiency and drive collective success.
- Maintain a Growth-Oriented Mindset – Embrace a can-do attitude, continuously improve your skills, and stay committed to becoming an expert in your field.

Qualifications & Skills
- Active Real Estate License – Must be licensed and ready to hit the ground running.
- Proven Sales Experience – Must have successfully closed 5-20 real estate transactions with top-tier client service.
- Exceptional Interpersonal & Negotiation Skills – Builds strong relationships and confidently navigates deals to achieve the best outcomes.
- Outstanding Communication Skills – Clear, professional, and persuasive in both written and verbal interactions.
- Highly Detail-Oriented, Proactive & Resourceful – Anticipates needs, solves problems efficiently, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
- Thrives in a Fast-Paced, Dynamic Environment – Excels under pressure, adapts quickly, and remains focused in a high-energy setting.
- Deep Market Knowledge (or Willingness to Learn) – Familiarity with the St. Louis real estate market is a plus, but a hunger to master it is a must.
- Tech-Savvy & Comfortable with Real Estate Tools – Proficient in industry platforms such as MLS, CRM systems, digital marketing tools, and transaction management software.
