The Onsite Licensed Sales Counselor is responsible for engaging with prospective homebuyers, managing sales transactions, and achieving sales goals for newly constructed homes. The role includes initiating and maintaining relationships with customers, offering product information, and driving sales through marketing, networking, and customer follow-up.
Primary Responsibilities
Greet visitors and provide literature, point-of-sale information, and handouts.
Respond to inquiries, showcase model homes, and discuss floor plans and construction details.
Overcome objections and close sales to create satisfied customers.
Assist with financing questions and manage documentation of sales transactions.
Conduct weekly follow-up calls with buyers until home closing.
Maintain clean and well-kept models and sales environments.
Continuously seek new prospects and maintain relationships with brokers and referrals.
Host events like grand openings and community events to attract buyers.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Sales experience required, preferably in homebuilding or real estate.
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive selling, and relationship-building.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), experience with CMA and data-driven sales methods. Familiarity with C3 or JD Edwards database a plus.
License: Current local real estate license and valid driver's license required.
Education: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Schedule: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
