Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and Construction Project Administrator to join our construction project team. This entry-level position plays a pivotal role in ensuring efficient project operations, communication between Korean and English-speaking workers, and maintaining essential project documentation. Key Responsibilities:
Document Preparation and Organization
- Prepare, organize, and maintain project documents, including plans, permits, contracts, and safety policies.
- Translate documents from Korean to English and vice versa as needed to ensure clear communication among team members.
Policy Compliance and Translation:
- Facilitate the distribution and collection of safety and project-specific policies among workers.
- Act as a translator to ensure all workers understand and comply with safety regulations and project guidelines.
Communication and Interpretation:
- Serve as a bilingual point of contact between Korean and English-speaking workers on the construction site.
- Interpret conversations, meetings, and instructions to bridge language barriers effectively.
Reporting:
- Generate progress reports detailing work completed, materials used, and any issues encountered.
- Translate reports into English or Korean for project managers and other stakeholders.
Coordination and Scheduling:
- Assist in coordinating site activities, including meetings and material deliveries.
- Ensure clear communication and scheduling alignment among team members from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of project expenses, worker hours, and modifications to project plans.
- Translate records and documentation as required for internal and external reporting.
Data Entry and Administrative Support:
- Perform data entry tasks related to the project, ensuring the accuracy of bilingual records.
- Provide general administrative support, including supply management and office organization.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in both Korean and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or construction-related coursework is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Familiarity with construction documentation and terminology is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
