What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Planner position at KB Search Team?
Are you passionate about Materials Planning? We are on the lookout for a dedicated Materials Planner / Inventory Analyst who is ready to make a mark as part of our client's team. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in this custom manufacturing environment by planning, procuring, and expediting materials to meet the demands of production
What You Will Do :
- Create and maintain an inventory schedule by watching trends and customer demands
- Review MRP messages daily and release production work orders accordingly
- Update Production orders as orders are released and completed
- Communicate daily with floor supervisors for
- Monitor work order start dates and raise awareness of those not started on time
- Assist customer service with item availability inquiries
- Coordinate machine availability with Engineering and Production
- Organize and schedule deliveries to customers
- Communicate with manufacturing suppliers
