What are the responsibilities and job description for the MS&T Senior Engineer - Downstream position at KBI Biopharma, Inc.?
The MS&T Senior Engineer is responsible for technical support for cGMP production runs, tech transfer activities, process engineering, process validation, process monitoring, and biopharmaceutical processes in the cGMP manufacturing facility. The MS&T Senior Engineer should demonstrate proven technical expertise in downstream biologics and have strong knowledge of industry best practices around process engineering and process validation
The MS&T Senior Engineer is the primary contact for communications with client organizations to enable clear process description and requirement definition for site implementation.
The MS&T Senior Engineer is also responsible for support of equipment system ownership activities such as procuring and enrolling manufacturing equipment, defining equipment maintenance requirements, equipment commissioning and qualification activities, and evaluating deviations and change impacts.
The MS&T Senior Engineer is responsible for leading cross-functional teams and collaboration with Manufacturing, Validation, QA, Facilities & Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, Automation, QC, Process Development as necessary to ensure process implementation and execution is validated and compliant.
