What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Intern position at KBI Biopharma?
Position Summary:
The engineering intern will work within the system owner team leading minor engineering projects and assisting with large capitol projects. The intern will be:
- Learning about the cGMP manufacturing environment and understanding the different utilities and uses for them.
- Gaining valuable in-plant experience with utility and process equipment.
- Learning to utilize trending data to look for opportunities for continual improvement.
- Supporting troubleshooting efforts on facility systems as issues arise.
Position Responsibilities:
- The primary job responsibilities for the engineering intern role are shown in the table below.
- Lead efforts in finding, creating, and centralizing engineering system documentation.
- Continuous improvement of spare parts identification and critical spare ordering.
- Process drawing updates including drafting redlines, documentation completion, and storage of drawings.
- Support utilities engineering staff with capital project work.
Position Requirements:
Current pursuit of a full-time undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
Salary Range: $15.00 /HR - 19.00 HR
Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
