What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor, Maintenance position at KBI Biopharma?
Responsible for providing Maintenance support and service to KBI’s internal operations at KBI Biopharma commercial manufacturing site functioning 24 / 7. Responsibilities include supervision and performance of corrective and preventative maintenance in adherence with all site procedures to support performance goals for safety, quality and reliability. Demonstrate good technical expertise, communications and team building skills
- Assign, supervise and perform corrective and preventative maintenance of facilities including mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, process equipment.
- Responsible for the employment, employee motivation, career development, counseling, discipline and changes in status of employees supervised. Ensuring employees abide by the KBI Values.
- Troubleshoot and repair facilities, equipment, and systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic circuits (motors, pumps, compressors, boilers, chillers, and purified and domestic water systems) using manuals, SOPs, specifications, and other workplace aids.
- Provide recommendations and assist with implementation of methods, procedures and techniques for improving maintenance of existing / new systems as well as assisting with system failure root cause investigations.
- Prepare documents to include maintenance, quality, and other documents / reports as deemed appropriate following good documentation practices potentially inclusive of deviations, corrective actions preventative actions (CAPA), change controls, and SOP revisions.
- Other duties consistent with knowledge, skills and ability as assigned.
Minimum Requirements :
A.S. / A.A. Degree in Mechanical / Utilities Technology, or Licensed Journeyman, with a minimum of five (5) years of work experience. Prior experience with general utility systems, boilers, electrical, HVAC and refrigeration systems. Universal CFC Refrigerant License preferred. Prior experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
Working Conditions :
Salary Range : $84,000 - $115,500
Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
