Job Overview
We are looking for an efficient and organized Last Mile Delivery Dispatch Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of the last mile delivery process. This role involves coordinating deliveries, managing dispatch schedules, and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, a customer-focused mindset, and experience in logistics or transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Dispatch Coordination: Oversee and manage the dispatch process for last mile deliveries, ensuring that drivers are assigned to appropriate routes based on delivery schedules, traffic, and customer preferences.

· Route Optimization: Work closely with route planning teams to optimize delivery routes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness, minimizing delays or missed deliveries.

· Monitor Deliveries: Track and monitor live deliveries, providing real-time updates to drivers and addressing any delays, issues, or challenges as they arise.

· Customer Communication: Communicate with customers as necessary to update them on delivery status, address concerns, and provide excellent customer service.

· Problem Resolution: Resolve any delivery issues or conflicts, including missed deliveries, re-routing, or addressing customer complaints.

· Driver Support: Provide drivers with all necessary information, support, and guidance for smooth delivery operations. Ensure drivers are equipped with the proper tools, documentation, and instructions for each route.

· Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities, deliveries, and customer feedback. Generate daily reports on delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

· Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including warehouse staff, customer service, and oversea team to resolve the pending issue, to ensure smooth operations and achieve delivery goals.

· Compliance and Safety: Ensure all deliveries comply with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards. Monitor driver performance and ensure safe driving practices.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or delivery coordination, ideally in a last mile or dispatch role.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, customers, and team members.

· Proficiency in dispatch software, route planning tools, or logistics management systems.

· Ability to think critically and problem-solve in real-time to resolve delivery issues and challenges.

· Knowledge of local traffic patterns and delivery areas.

· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings, if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with delivery route optimization software (e.g., OptimoRoute, Route4Me, etc.).

· Experience managing teams or supervising drivers.

· Mandarin Chinese or Spanish is a plus.
