Position Summary :
The Environmental Technicians primary function is environmental sampling / testing, research, reporting, data entry, inspections, and contributing to the team by offering support as needed. You will be responsible for meeting project schedules and client expectations.
Job Responsibilities :
- Complete soil, surface water, and groundwater sampling
- Submit samples to laboratory and complete necessary forms
- Communicate with contractors and managers regarding project status and requirements.
- Complete site visit reports
- Complete site walkovers and evaluations
- Attend project related meetings with clients, owners, and / or government agencies.
- Develop and maintain client relationships in order to obtain future work
- Assist with resolution of technical and administrative problems.
- Work closely with Manager to complete projects within schedules
- Adhere to company safety polices and use of supplied personal protective equipment.
- Travel to other Firm's offices, client offices, and project sites.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
