Job Summary:
The HR Administrative Assistant under the direction of the Human Resources Director will assist in the day-to-day administrative transactional activities of the human resources department and process weekly payroll.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties / Responsibilities:
Weekly payroll processing
· Administrative tasks for the weekly tool box talks and monthly safety training: print the monthly packets for the supervisors and office personnel, file the attendance sheets and curriculum in the Tool Box and Monthly Training Binders, enter the monthly training records into JJ Keller, and file training records in the employee’s training file
· New Hire & Safety Orientation – Conduct the orientations, audit completed new hire paperwork and process
· Monthly Safety Orientation Facilitation - Show the video’s, review policies, and administer/review quizzes with class.
· Personnel File Maintenance -creating new hire personnel files, keeping up with filing, and records retention
· Miscellaneous Projects: put together new hire packets, create common form folders, training files clean up – pulling terminated employee files and placing with term personnel file, I-9 file clean up – pull terminated employees from Active Binder and file in I-9 Term Binders, assist with Holiday event planning,
Required Skills / Abilities:
· Knowledge of information and data processing systems
· Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
· Must possess strong organization skills and attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal skills

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Ability to prioritize tasks
Ability and maturity to work with highly confidential information
Payroll experience a plus but will train right candidate
Education and Experience:
· Training in the fields of business administration, accounting, or similar vocations obtained generally through relevant job experience.
· Minimum of year (2) years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative support role.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
