Cares Advocate

KBP Cares is a Public 501(c)3 Employee Assistance Program supported by KBP Brands. Available to every KBP Brands employee upon hire, KBP Cares provides assistance for qualifying circumstances affecting their ability to meet necessary living expenses. The KBP Cares Advocate plays a crucial role in the daily operations of the program, serving as a true advocate for those in need and acting as a liaison between applicants and the Allocation Committee.

What You'll Do :

• Investigate and process grant applications and work directly with employees to fully understand their situation, financial need, and details regarding the hardship.
• Obtain required documentation validating the hardship and financial need.
• Effectively present the application, key details and supporting documentation to the Allocation Committee for approval through designated grant platform.
• Responsible for proactively gathering information and answering outstanding questions from the Allocation Committee
• Ensure employees are responded to within one business day of submitting their application.
• Maintain the grant platform to keep application statuses up to date; ensuring movement of applications within 30 days.
• Process payment of grant to approved vendors, directly paying the employee's qualified bill(s).
• Gather testimonials from grant recipients and write compelling stories to market the program.
• Provide metrics and other data regarding grants, amounts awarded, and any pending complications within applications, working closely with the Executive Director.
• Meet or exceed program quota for grants awarded per month and on an annual basis.
• Executes communications about KBP Cares across multiple platforms, social media, newsletters, etc.

Compensation Range : $21.00-26.00 per hour.

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
